EMPOWER 7’s TAC CELEBRATES YEAR OF SUCCESS
On May 17, 2023, Empower 7 celebrated the dedication and many successes of our 2022-2023 Teen Advisory Council (aka TAC).
Over the last several years, our Teen Advisory Council has made invaluable contributions to our ministry. However, our 2022-2023 TAC raised the bar on what teens can do when they come together to serve a greater purpose! We are forever thankful for their leadership.
This past council year, they focused their time and energy on the following activities:
- Developing leadership roles and responsibilities
- Completing leadership development training
- Leading service projects for Project Self Esteem
- Advocating for our mission goals
- Presenting at our 2nd annual Deep in the Heart fundraiser
- Fundraising for our 3rd Annual 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
- Supporting the design of the ranch homes and Empower 7-Step Model
- Serving as advisors to the Board of Directors
