Deep in the Heart 2025: A Night of Hope and Generosity Raises Support for Vulnerable Youth Across North Texas

Empower 7 hosted its 5th Annual Deep in the Heart Dinner and Fundraiser on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Venue at Boyd Farm, bringing together supporters from across North Texas for an unforgettable night of faith, fellowship, and Texas hospitality.

The evening began with a special VIP reception for sponsors and donors, followed by a Texas-themed dinner, spirited live and silent auctions, and a moving program featuring stories of hope and transformation from youth impacted by Empower 7’s Christ-centered programs. Guests also enjoyed a live performance by country artist Rowdy Shea, whose music set the tone for a joyful celebration.

“Deep in the Heart is more than a night—it’s a movement of hope,” said Melanie Cobb, Founder and President of Empower 7. “Every story shared and every dollar given helps light the way for youth to find belonging, purpose, and faith.”

Funds raised from the event will support Empower 7’s Ranch building campaign and programs serving vulnerable youth ages 13–24, including those in foster care, facing homelessness, or transitioning to independence.

Empower 7 extends heartfelt gratitude to its sponsors, donors, and volunteers whose generosity made this milestone year possible. Special thanks to the Deep in the Heart Committee and Board of Directors for their dedicated service and leadership.

About Empower 7

Empower 7 is a faith-based nonprofit helping vulnerable youth across North Texas discover their God-given purpose and reach their full potential. Serving youth ages 13–24 who are in foster care, facing homelessness, or experiencing family instability, Empower 7 provides relational, practical, and spiritual support through its three-tiered program model: Blessings, Growth, and Launch.

Our vision is for every youth to flourish with hope, live with purpose, pursue the future God has planned for them, and shine as lights in the world. Empower 7 walks with vulnerable youth today through care, mentoring, and practical support — while building toward the Empower 7 Ranch, a Christ-centered residential community where at-risk youth will find safety, healing, and hope.
