May is National Foster Care Month, a time when communities across the country come together to raise awareness and support young people navigating life without stable family support.
At Empower 7, we believe every young person deserves encouragement, opportunity, and a community that walks beside them.
Empower 7 Giving Day is a special opportunity to rally our community around youth who are facing instability and working toward a brighter future.
While May 7 is our official Giving Day, donations are welcome anytime throughout the campaign.
WHY GIVING DAY MATTERS
Many young people in our community face challenges that make the transition to adulthood difficult—especially those connected to foster care or without consistent family support.
Empower 7 provides encouragement, practical support, and life preparation through programs such as:
These programs help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and take meaningful steps toward independent adulthood.
But this work is only possible because people like you choose to stand with them.

Your generosity helps Empower 7 provide meaningful support through mentorship, life preparation, and community care.

- $2,500 — Personal Space Makeover
- Transform an empty room into a home with furniture, bedding, décor, and essentials that restore dignity and belonging.
- $1,000 — Life Skills & Mentorship
- Support ThrivePoint care plans that include mentoring, job readiness, life skills training, and personalized goal-setting.
- $500 — Emergency Stability & Family Support
- Provide urgent needs such as groceries, transportation, or temporary housing during times of crisis.
- $100 — Everyday Essentials
- Provide hygiene items, school supplies, and work clothes that help youth show up prepared and confident.
- $50 — Bibles & Devotionals
Offer encouragement, truth, and reminders of God’s love as youth grow in faith and hope.

OUR GIVING DAY GOAL
This year, our goal is to raise $7,000 to support youth facing instability in our community.
Some of the youth we serve are navigating the foster care system. Others are experiencing housing instability, lack consistent family support, or are transitioning into adulthood without a strong safety net.
Through encouragement, mentoring, and practical support, Empower 7 walks alongside these young people as they build confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for independent adulthood.
